The horse produces saliva during chewing. Saliva moistens the ingesta thereby easing the passage of food from the mouth to the stomach. Saliva is rich in bicarbonate, which helps to buffer the acid secretions produced in the stomach.
Explanation:
Once the feed is released from the stomach it enters the small intestine. In the small intestine a majority of non-structural carbohydrates (starch), protein and fat are digested by enzymes and absorbed. Starch is digested by amylase enzymes, oil is digested by lipase enzymes and protein is digested by protease enzymes.
Subject: – Complaint about the frequent breakdown of electricity in my locality.
Respected Sir,
Our locality is facing the problem of the frequent breakdown of electricity, I am writing this letter to draw the kind attention of the local authorities towards this problem through your honoured newspaper. The residents of the area are in a problematic situation due to the frequent power cut.
A sudden and frequent power cut in the locality causes darkness on the roads and there is a great chance of causing accidents on the road. Due to the power cut, students cannot study properly at night. Also, there is a chance of robbery in the houses. People are not feeling comfortable living alone in their houses. We have made a lot of requests in the MS-DCl office to look into the matter but they didn’t work on that. Please publish this article in your esteemed daily so that the authorities should focus on that and take any action against the situation. So that we will be free from the current worst condition of the electrical breakdown.
