Explanation:

the velocity after 5 sec is 25m s

Answer: Velocity after 5sec will be 25m/s

Explanation:

Given - FORCE (F) = 50N

             MASS  (M) = 10kg

To find - Velocity(V) of the body after 5sec = ?

Solution -

Force(F) acting on a body of mass(M) moving with Acceleration(A) is given by

F = M*A...........(i)

In this case

F = 50N  AND M = 10kg  ( All quantities are in S.I unit )

Therefore by equation (i) we have

50 = 10*A

A = 50/10

this implies

A = 5 m/s^2

Since we know that for constant acceleration of a body it is given by

A = V - U/T .......( ii)

( where A is the acceleration , V is the velocity at the given time and U is the initial velocity  and T is the given time)

In this case

A = 5 m/s^2 , T = 5 sec , U = 0 ( cause body starts from rest) , V = ?

By (ii) we have

5 = V - 0/ 5

V = 5 * 5

This implies that

V = 25 m/s

Hence , Velocity of the body after 5 secs of motion is 25 m/s.
