The Structure of Sociological Theory by Jonathan H. Turner is a revised and enlarged edition encompassing the most recent developments in sociological theory. Dr. Turner’s success lies in providing a brilliant analysis of the major ‘‘paradigms’’ along with his criticisms. Five main theoretical perspectives, namely, functional, conflict, exchange, interactionist and structural have been discussed in five parts comprising twenty-two chapters including the introductory chapter.
