White light is a combination of all colors in the color spectrum. It has all the colors of the rainbow. Combining primary colors of light like red, blue, and green creates secondary colors: yellow, cyan, and magenta. 7Answer: Wave lengths of the electromagnetic spectrum. Light can be passed through aprism to determine its composition . Each color of the spectrum represents light vibrating at a different frequency or wave length . The shorter the wavelength, the more the rays are bent, or refracted, when passing through a transparent medium. Red light has the longest wave length, and violet the shortest, thus the red light is bent the least and the violet light is bent the most.
