Problems faced by wildlife sancturies are deforestation, poaching, plastic pollution, habitat loss,roadkill.
Explanation:
• Deforestation: Cutting down of trees are a huge threat to wildlife because it effects the habitat of the animals and affects fauna. It also creates food crisis for aminals.
• Poaching: Illegal hunting of animals for their skin, horns, antlers , tusks is known as poaching. Increase in demand of animal products both in form of garments and food are leading to increase in the amount of poaching.
• Plastic pollution: Countries like India , is having a real tough time in managing plastic . Amples of plastic wastes are produced everyday and are left untreated. Many animals consume such hazardous items with food which leads them to choking and death.
• Habitat Loss: Human activities such as mining and deforestation are causing habitat of animals to get destroyed which is leading to a loss to species . Also, several species of animals are endagered and many have been extinct today.
• Road kill: Road kill has become the new enemy of animals over the last decade. Lack of prey in their own habitat is pushing them to move to cities which in turn is causing road kill of animals in urban areas.
