Perhaps. But most people don’t make enough money at any of those professions to live on.
The only person I’ve personally known who worked at dance full-time (to be clear, I’m referring to the kind of dancing that doesn’t involve removing one’s clothing in front of the audience), was a “trust-fund baby” and didn’t need to make money from dancing to survive.
I know a handful of artists (including myself) who manage to scratch out a living from their art. But most artists do art as a hobby (some of them are very good) and have a side job to pay the bills.
In the distant past, I’ve made pretty good money playing music. But local music scenes have long ago been crushed by the “music industry” and turned into unpaid auditions, forcing musicians to scramble over each other to try to get into the 0.01% of musicians who make their living entirely from music.
So, the odds are not good. Best possibility is to get trained in some field that pays well that you can stand doing over the long term, while pursuing art or dance or music as a hobby.
