Now, the height of the cylinder (h) = 10 cm

Let, the radius of the cylinder= r cm

then, the circumference= 2πr cm

so, we can write

2πr = 88

=> r = 14

Then total surface area of that cylinder =

[tex]2\pi \: r {}^{2} \:+ 2\pi\:r\:h \\ [/tex]

= 1232+880

=2112 cm sq
