colour blindness - Genes that lead to red green color blindness are on X chromosome. Males have only one x chromosome but females have two x chromosome. When mother is a carrier of color blindness, then the son has 50% chance to become colour blind .
A daughter will not be colorblind unless her father is affected and mother is a carrier .
