With due respect, my name is XYZ, studying in the class 11th Commerce, roll number 23. I would like to raise the issue of the bad condition and bad facilities in the school canteen. The food that is served is very oily and unhygienic. Cookies use the same oil in preparing food and sometimes the food gives a bad smell of the oil and such oil has a very bad effect on health.

Moreover, the prices of the food are expensive and the canteen menu is limited. And most of the items in the school canteen are either canned, packed, processed or fast food. The quality of food which is being cooked in the school canteen is totally ignored and it is affecting the health of very young students in the school.

I request the school authority to do the needful and have words with the canteen people and ask them to sell more nutritious and healthy foods and to maintain hygiene. Such as fresh juices, yogurt, vegetable wraps etc.
