They may kill me but cannot kill my ideas. They can crush my body, but they will not be able to crush my spirit”. I think this quote must have reminded you all of one of the greatest freedom fighters of the Indian history, i.e. Bhagat Singh.Shaheed Bhagat Singh was born on 28th of September, 1907 at Punjab. He died as a martyr at a very young age of 23. He was a revolutionary leader and contributed to the Indian freedom struggle. He wrote articles for Kirti Kisan Party’s magazine. He founded Naujawan Bharat Sabha in 1926 and raised slogans of ‘Inquilab Zindabad’. He infamously killed a British officer and was executed on March 23rd, 1931 along with fellow comrades Rajguru and Sukhdev. He was a freedom fighter who never thought about his own life, who kept on smiling & served the nation till his last breath
