Each side of the hexagon would be equal to the radius of the circle. If the diameter is 10 cm, then the radius is 5 cm. There are six sides to a hexagon, so the perimeter would be 30 cm.

Solution:

In a regular hexagon, all the sides are of equal size.

So the side of the hexagon can be calculated by the formula,

By putting the value of the perimeter,

Hence the side of the hexagon is 5 cm.

Since the hexagon is in the circle, any one of the diagonal of the hexagon can be considered as the diameter.

And the diagonal is twice the side of the hexagon.
