Explanation:
According to scientists, we only have 3-5 years to change the earth and if we fail, we will perish due to tsunami, typhoons and other natural disasters. Due to anthropogenic (human) activities we have caused too much stress on earth, which will result in environmental degradation. The human activities leading to the consequences are pollution, urbanization, no proper waste management, wastage of resources etc.
Recently, scientists all over the world have been appealing to the people to take their part in saving our planet from the possible climate crisis and global warming adversity. Mother earth has reached her breaking point. Let us do our share to conserve water, use energy wisely, take care of plants, delete emails that might contribute to energy waste, save electricity. Ways to help mother earth can be by saving water/fuels, planting more trees, avoid smoking, turn of lights and unplug devices when not in use etc. Spreading a word from mouth to mouth, especially among youth and children can have a larger impact on our future awareness.
All the small steps that we will start to take today may spare us years to live on earth. Reduce carbon footprint, going zero waste, say no to plastic, save the planet are some of the campaigns conducted to create awareness among people to educate them about the seriousness of the situation. If not now then we can never retrieve our peaceful mother earth back, instead we will have to face the aggressive mother earth in the near future.
