A horrible bus accident took place at Greater Kailash in Delhi. The bus toppled over bridge under Do police station. The driver of the bus, carrying 56 people, was speaking on his cell phone while driving even refusing to heed to repeated pleas by passengers not to do so. An eyewitness said that a truck came close to the bus perilously and desperate to avoid the truck, the bus swerved to the right and fell over the bridge. The local people spotted 14 dead bodies and 23 were severely injured. The ambulances were called immediately. After sometime police reached the spot. An investigation committee was set up to find the real culprit.

The chief minister Arvind Kejriwal announced an extra gratia payment of RS 5 lacs to the dead person's families and RS 1 lac to the injured.

Patna, August 7th: A very disheartening news surfaced yesterday evening when locals discovered that an entire school bus fell off a cliff in Rajgir. The students of Little Flower School were going for a picnic at Rajgir nature safari but while returning the bus driver lost control and the bus fell off the cliff.

This accident took place around 5:00 pm then the locals who discovered the bus informed the authorities and the rescue operation started.

Many of the students are severely injured, eight students and three out of five teachers died on spot.

The bodies of the dead have been recovered and were sent to their families.

Injured students are admitted to PMCH Patna and doctors are doing everything possible to treat them.
