Today we all are here to acknowledge our privilege of being born in a Free India, remember the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters in the struggle for independence and celebrate the 75th Independence day of our country. We celebrate this day for several reasons one which and the most important is, to never forget the sacrifices made by the people of India in the British Raj who fought against the colonial rule, which made this day come to existence. Those difficult times and struggles must not be allowed to fade away from our memories because it reminds us the importance of freedom and the spirit of nationalism. Hence, every Independence Day, we not only celebrate our freedom, but we also pay tribute to the ones who fought for it, to the ones who held a vision for our country, and to the ones who sacrificed themselves for the same. There are uncountable brave soles who gave their lives for idea of creating an independent nation, some of them who devoted their whole life to this idea and the struggle that came with it were Subhash Chandra Bose, Mohan Das Karamchand Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad and uncountably more souls.
The significance of its beautiful story is that this nation has gained respect from the world for the democratic route chosen by it and the diversity it withholds within it. We can proudly say that India has never invaded any country in its 10000 years of history and still India is the nation with most cultural and religious diversity in the whole world.
To pay tribute to the brave immortal souls of our freedom fighters and celebrate the culture, history, morals teachings and indomitable spirit of our country India, on this auspicious day I will like to welcome our chief guest of the day Mr./Mrs. 'abc' to host the National Flag and stand up with everyone for the National anthem.
