What I have observed throughout my life is that till 5 to 6 years, mothers’ laps are the schools for young ones. Beyond that, till 10 or around, parents’ help is added to school-input. These children usually flourish. They are generally properly-oriented and well-behaved. They grow as society-individuals.

Those who become pests are usually driven to a bad future because of their company. They are not supervised properly. They become uncontrollable. They are labeled as disobedient. They grow as society-harming individuals.

So, learning in a proper way under effective supervision is attributable towards families, schools, friendships, company and individual’s psychology. It is difficult to differentiate. I doubt if there are statistical exercises done on that. Therefore, as a crude guess, I will place 60% learning comes from family (good or bad), 20% from schools (good or bad from set of teachers) and rest is what they imbibe.
